Roma 9

Therefore God has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and he hardens whom he wants to harden.  One of you will say to me: “Then why does God still blame us? For who is able to resist his will?” But who are you, a human being, to talk back to God? “Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it, ‘Why did you make me like this?’ ”

Romans 9:18‭-‬20 NIV

Have you ever asked many questions in your heart? why this happened and why that was so. Have you ever thought something happened out of your control and choice? sadness and despair come over, as if there was no hope anymore.

At that time, Paul felt a deep sorrows, because of his physical nation, Israel. but he stressed that what happened, what was chosen was what God wanted.

like the ribka that I told Jacob but hated esau? God allows that.

continue whether you will argue and consider it unfair?

as I also really want the people closest to me to know God correctly. as in the previous chapter, it says "nothing can separate me from His love".

But on the way, until I felt hopeless.

sometimes I'm stressed and tired of silliness, ignorance, wrong choices, struggles with sin that seem like it can't be dealt with. it is true that the Word is like a double-edged sword, which pierces so deeply that it can separate human thoughts and thoughts.

I re-evaluate myself again, and more and more study the word of God.

I received a lot of input but do you really involve God in all areas of your life? or is it only a small part. oh this area please take over, but this one box, the sinful nature and the past, don't touch it. is it like that?

things that seem small and you almost give up when you really give up your pride and ask God for help, don't you yourself see that God is always with you ?! First of all, you lack faith in God's power and still consider your own strength! When will you be like that ?!

just like israel who because of the record of his ancestors got that privilege, and that "knowledge" that they exalt so that they live without relying on God and live life with the wrong understanding ?!

so would you give up your life completely to be controlled by God?

but I don't know how.

You know, that first what saved you was "your faith," I believe, you will not hesitate and be able to completely obey what God wants.

Do this step prim. So that you are not easily swayed by error.

God, help me to understand what God wants. this might sound like Jesus' disciples when they asked that their faith be added. but I want to give up my life's steering wheel to God and ignore my background, my skills, my knowledge and not eliminate my hopes for God's glory.

I am truly grateful and amazed that God is love and compassion.
